They're good! They don't have a house, but that seems to be their biggest hang up. It's too early to see what "type" of girls they are, but for a colony, they took girls with good grades and heavy on-campus involvement. I would expect their chapter grades to be in the mid-range but I'm not sure.

I guess another "downside" would be that they don't have strong fraternity relations, but that will change once they do more date parties. Frat parties here aren't super exclusive anyways, so if individual girls want to be more social, there shouldn't be anything to prevent that.

no one is going to want to pay for a house they'll never get to use.

That's a bad additive. When DG and KD came on campus, it did not take them long to have a house. Building a house doesn't take that long.

Its only their first recruitment! No need to worry about the house. Their nationals will have a building fund and started the process even before they colonized. New sororities don't come onto campus without a plan and serious backing from their alums and nationals. No need to tear them down when they are just starting out.

I don't think anyone is tearing them down... people are just being realistic and expressing concern with the future of their "fraternity"????

The future of their "fraternity"? They've only been here a year and are just getting started.
