Rankings have changed this year and it is about time people had the guts to say it. Actually this was more like last year with a few exceptions and the past two pc's have improved Aggie greek so much from all the chapters!!!
Top Tier
Kappa over Tri Delt finally
DG/ PiPhi round out top tier
Middle Tier no order
Zeta, AXO, DZ, XO
Bottom
GPhi and Theta top of this tier
KD and ADPi are now interchangable... not in a bad way but AdPi did improve this year.

DG's are NOT a top tier but are self-promoters
Top-not in order
Kappa--Good pledge class. Made their pledges drink on bid day.
Zeta-Good pledge class. Beautiful girls at A&M
Tri-Delt-not as good as they used to be. Some cute girls & some weird ones too.
Pi-Phi-Camp girls. Not very cute.
Middle-any order
DG-on the rise but not there. Big self-promoters
XO-some good seniors left but have not had a good pledge class since. XO's are just awkward
Theta-A couple of great girls but that is it
Lower-in any order
AXO-getting better

the kappa pledges were NOT forced to drink on bid day! they actually spent the night at the house so they wouldn't go out and do that like every other house. YOU ARE STUPID

It is wise to take everything you hear with a grain of salt. From somebody who actually was there, I can promise you that forced drinking in no way took place. You are insane or a DG or Zeta or both lol... No way is DG in top tier over PiPhi and everyone knows that Zeta will always be a solid middle tier house. The rest of your list I agree with totally. There is not much difference in the middle tier houses and I give them equal billing.

Obvious that DG is on this website a lot more than others...
Theta and chi o are both easily still above DG and zeta...
Zeta had an awful rush this year, and DGs was very average.
Everyone knows top 5 is
Tri delt, kappa, Pi phi, chi o, theta
Then next is
DG and zeta
Then everyone else led by axo.

Generally - the best girls will pledge KKG and TriDelt. Chi O and Theta use to be in this category, and will, because of their alumnae and strength in Tx, be back at the top at some time.
The best girls will Generally never pledge DZ, ZTA because those sororities, for whatever reason, are not respected. Many girls don't want that stereotype, whether it is accurate at A&m or not.
DG is not strong in texas and surrounding states, and that will always hurt them at A&M. Nationally though - the top are KKG, KAT, Pi Phi, Tri Delt, DG. Based on where they have chapters, strength of chapters on a national level, and financial assets.

the above post is wrong.. Lots of good girls pledge DZ and Zeta. DG is doing very well at A&M and despite national strength KAT not as good here anymore.

Pi Phi's & Thetas are not as good at A&M. They are average here. Pi Phi has not been good for many many years. Some girls that pledge these sororities end up dropping out because they are NOT happy. These 2 sororities have some good girls but most are just weird. Nationally, Pi Phi & Theta are great but NOT at A&M. They are average.

LMAO---where did you get those five as top nationally?? You're reasons are completely off. All sororities are only strong regionally these days. At most, KKG and PiPhi could be considered strong everywhere but even that has changed--they have many weak chapters now. DG IS strong in Texas--look at UT.
Out of 26 NPC sororities, there are 12 very strong ones and all the groups at A&M are on this list except for DZ.

There are several sororities that are consistently top tier in all regions of the country - kkg, PiPhi, Theta, TriDelt (except on West Coast), and DG. Say what you want about Theta at A&M, but they have top tier chapters at strong greek schools - Texas, SMU, oklahoma, Arizona, Ohio State, Illinois, USC, UCLA, Washington, Vanderbilt, Virginia, Georgia, Missouri, Harvard, Yale, Columbia, Penn, etc.

kkg, piphi, theta, tridelt and dg are NOT consistently top tier in all regions of the country--don't know where you're getting your info from???? Theta is bottom tier in the southeast, DG is bottom tier in Texas and most of the southeast and tridelt is bottom in the west. You could almost say piphi and kappa are consistently strong but its just not true anymore. Not sure what's going on with their nationals.

We are not Texas and will never be like Texas. We do have 12 decent sororities but nothing like Texas. Our rankings are not like any other in the state of Texas either and just because chapter is good at Texas Smu Baylor or TCu DOES NOT mean they are good here.
Tri Delt and Kappa are our only true top tier houses that can compete with the ones from Texas
Dg and Zeta are getting closer to other texas univ.
Pi Phi and Xo we have the worst chapters of these sororities at A&M they cannot hold up in Texas and they keep having horrible pc's so I do not know why people still rank them this high
AXO and DZ are both rising here. Neither are good at other Texas schools but at A&M they are.
GPhi and Theta may be strong elsewhere but not here at all
KD and ADPi... AdPi is the worst house in all the big 12 schools so why should that change here... KD is mediocre in Texas always have been.
