i used to be a dz and they do have nice girls... the chapter was really cliqueish though and i felt like way too many people partied for me to fit in but that is the way that many chapters can be. just becasue dz is not right for you doesnt mean you should judge them. some girls are classy here.

who cares about ranking... seriously get a life and quit. This is all so stupid and like previous posters have said recently: if you feel the need to rank and put each other down you are the one with self image problems. Grow up

@ below...couldn't have said it better myself. They get a bad rep from some things that happened a LONG time ago, but if you actually meet them, you will change your mind.

I ended up pledging with a different sorority but my roommate is with the DZ's. She was upset at first as she did not get her top choice from recruitment. She said the same thing that she had some awkward moments at some parties where there was a lull in the convo. However she gave them a try on Bid day and fell in love with all the girls. She said that even the girl that seemed awkward during recruitment was so fun and not awkward at all that night. She has even spent lots more time with her pledge class than I have with mine and she is always so excited to go hang out with them. My roommate is not a party type girl at all and she was worried about this group for that reason but has come to find out that these girls are not as much of the party group as everyone keeps saying on here. I really wish all of you with all your bad things to say would shut up. We are all aggies, we are all smart and we all deserve to be happy in our sororities no matter what tier you may say that they are.

Clearly a lot of DZ get on this sight because that is the only way they could be number 1.
