Tiffin University is a small private school in northwest Ohio, and its Greek presence reflects that scale. The community here is on the smaller, more intimate side — there's one active fraternity currently recognized on campus, and sorority life isn't an active part of the picture right now. For students who are used to hearing about big sprawling Greek rows or massive recruitment weekends, TU is a pretty different situation.
The one organization that does have a presence is Kappa Kappa Psi, which is a national honorary fraternity specifically for college band members. So it's worth keeping in mind that this isn't a traditional social fraternity in the IFC sense — it's more of a music-focused brotherhood that recognizes service and dedication to collegiate band programs. If you're involved in the TU band, that's where you'd likely encounter it.
Because the Greek footprint is small, it doesn't really drive the social calendar the way it does at larger state schools. Campus life at TU tends to center more around athletics — the school competes in the NAIA and has a strong football program — along with various student clubs and organizations. Greek life exists here, but it's more of a niche corner of campus than a defining feature of the social experience.
There don't appear to be traditional Greek houses associated with the current organizations, and formal recruitment in the IFC or Panhellenic sense isn't really part of the TU cycle right now. That could change as the school grows or as interest builds, but for the moment, the Greek side of Tiffin is a small piece of a campus that finds its identity elsewhere.
