Thomas More College - TMC Overview

  About Greek Life at TMC

Thomas More College is a small, Catholic liberal arts school in Crestview Hills, Kentucky, just across the river from Cincinnati, and its Greek system is sized accordingly. There's one fraternity and one sorority currently active on campus — Alpha Delta Gamma and Theta Phi Alpha — which keeps things pretty intimate compared to what you'd find at a large state school.

Alpha Delta Gamma is a Catholic fraternity, which fits the mission of the college pretty naturally. Theta Phi Alpha is also a historically Catholic sorority, so there's a clear thread connecting Greek life here to the broader identity of the institution. That's not an accident — it's just part of how things developed at a school like TMC.

Because the school itself is small, the Greek community isn't a dominant force in the way it might be at a big SEC or Big Ten campus. It's more of a close-knit part of student life than a central organizing force. Don't expect massive recruitment weeks with thousands of students moving through events — the process here is going to feel a lot more personal and low-key than that.

There's no traditional Greek row, and chapters don't have standalone houses the way they would at larger universities. Social events and chapter activities tend to happen on campus or in the surrounding area. Philanthropy is part of the chapter culture, as it is with most Greek organizations nationally, and that community service angle tends to resonate well with the college's Catholic identity and values.

If you're coming from a big public school background and expecting a huge Greek scene, TMC isn't that. But for students who connect with the Catholic mission of the school, these chapters offer a way to get involved that aligns pretty directly with the overall culture of the campus.
