Actives aren't supposed to talk to you. Honestly, you won't have a lot of opportunities to talk to them outside of recruitment anyway. We're crazy busy during recruitment and you'll be busy and exhausted too.

She knows the rules and you do too, so you both know it's not personal or being rude. Like one of the nicer people above said, you'll both be busy and exhausted so it's not like you'll have tons of time together anyway.
