How do I get my own room for rush?I get panic attacks, and i'm thinking it would be best if I had my own place to chill after a long day. Do I need to rent a hotel?

I was thinking the same thing. People keep talking about how stressful rush is. The last thing I want to do , is go back to some crowded dorm where I have to fight for mirror space. Plus what if my roommate snores? I really want my own room.

I personally think that's a waste of time and money.... You are gonna have to wake up even earlier just to get from a hotel to TCU

Which hotel would be the closest? For people with sleep issues, sensory processing issues, and anxiety, it might be needed.

I personally wouldn't get your own room for rush. My roommate didn't rush last year so she didn't move in until after rush and I was really lonely after each day. Think about it, you won't know anyone that week so wouldnt you want to come home to a friendly face?

But how do I know that my roommate won't be rushing? As a person with sensory processing differences, the presence of an extra body, could be overwhelming.

I'm assuming you were randomly assigned a roommate, in which case I would find them on fb, message them and ask. I mean, I didn't know a single person who didn't have a roommate last year so you'll have to have one eventually right?

I found out my roommate is going through rush. So I will have figure out if I should get a hotel room or not. Does anybody else get hotels? Will people know I have a hotel?

you are so anxious and have "sensory processing differences" then rush and sorority life probably aren't for you.

I've literally never heard of anyone getting a hotel

Because she has anxiety or sensory processing issues, a sorority isn't for her? That isn't true. There are loads of girls who have learning differences in every sorority. TCU is known as a very LD Friendly School.

Um when did she say she had a learning difference? That literally has nothing to do with what she said
