incoming freshman, just know the undeniable tops in this order are
1) Alpha Phi
2) Kappa
3) Tri Delt
ALPHA PHI rushes #1, meaning they're the hardest to get a bid from/most exclusive, and they have the most amount of pnms ranking them #1 and least amount of pnms dropping them. They're known for being a house of the best of the best: popular fun hot confident girls. If you actually know them yk their sisterhood is peak and they're a little quirky. This strat had a stuck up reputation bc of the exclusivity, if you can get them at your mixer or philo event (or if they don't drop you during rush) that's a flex.
KAPPA KAPPA GAMMA is arguably 2nd/3rd top, they're known for being the "inclusive" house on campus. fun outgoing party girls who probably have a creative niche. They party hard and haze harder. Despite being one of the top houses, their pledge classes are mostly mid/average looking, so don't worry if ur not hot. There's fs some models in there though.
DELTA DELTA DELTA is most known for their snowy reputation and being fun hot party girls. They're mostly stunning girls but the sisterhood and kindness category are lacking. They've had a couple of hazing and "other" scandals (cough cough alex purdy, cough cough washing machine), If you want a sorority for just "popularity", this is for you. If you want a group of supporting sisters, maybe not so much. However there are some super pretty and sweet girls in here just like every house, so don't let the members' stories turn you all the way off!

It’s facts that these 3 run the most competitive rush. They have the highest retention rate of PNMs and make the deepest cuts. There’s some cross-rushing between them, but by far the PNMs who have one of these houses pref another outside the top three. Doesn’t mean that they are the only houses worth being in and they are not everyone’s favorites. It just comes down to what the numbers look like during recruitment that makes them “top”.
From what I have seen the next most competitive is DG, followed closely by Phi Sig, then AXO and Gphi. These four houses have a similar type of PNMs - good grades, involved, attractive – but each of these houses have different vibes. DGs are more basic sorority girl closer to what you might find in the southern sorority, cute, sweet, pulled together. Phi Sigs are more low-key and chill, very social, can be a little quirky. AXOs can give high school class president vibes; cute, socially aware, achievers. Gphi is your girl next-door, friendly, athletic, pretty.
Lowk I have less personal experiences with the other houses.

my POV on the other srats as a senior:
AXiDs aren't as out there socially with frats; nice girls some are on the quiet side; really seem to support each other.
Theta: Come as you are vibe; can be quirky and/or alt but also has some sratty members.
AGD: Has rly grown and evolved since I rushed; kind and friendly girls; less drama. Giving confidence with who they are vibes.
SDT: Stylish, trendy, and put-together. Many seem to know each other before rush - camp, high school, etc. Involved around SU.
Dphie: Don’t rly know much but they have a rep as a strong sisterhood even if not rly social with frats.
Aephi: Outgoing and super involved; range of cute to stunning girls. They recruit well and seem like they get the girls they want during rush.
