Gamma Phi Beta - ΓΦΒ Sorority at University of Minnesota Twin Cities - UMN 1.5 This chapter is so sad and pathetic. If you want to find a 'mean girl' sorority, this is it. Very uptight and judgemental. Also, ZERO diversity here. Everyone has their group, and if you don't have one, well, good luck. It is nothing but petty middle school behavior in this chapter. It seems like the decent and level-headed girls always end up leaving because they don't want to deal with their bs behavior.

Gamma Phi Beta - ΓΦΒ Sorority at University of Minnesota Twin Cities - UMN 5.0 This sorority has the sweetest girls. I was conflicted between this house and AOII, ended up choosing AOII but I loved every girl that I met here during rush. I felt welcomed by every girl I met, and don’t have anything negative to say. I miss the girls that I met during rush and regret missing out on those relationships but honestly they’re so nice

Gamma Phi Beta - ΓΦΒ Sorority at University of Minnesota Twin Cities - UMN 3.4 They all seem really nice, dress well, spoke with reverence. However, there was one situation with this group that sort of rubbed me the wrong way. I was preparing one my culture's finest cuisines, genuine homemade Indian spicy hot hot curry. I dish I was wanting to make since I was starting to feel heavy homesickness, and this would have been my little piece of home. I'd be the first to admit my mootha's recipe in particular has a distinct and powerful order, but that doesn't excuse the endless array of disgusted looks I was given from my home cooking. It even got to the point to were I was ask to take my curry outside and finish my cooking in streets. Which in away really did make me feel like I was back home in India LOL. Regardless, I would wish that the campus as a whole was more accepting to foreign cuisine and embraced the difference in international food EVEN THE SMELLS!!!

I didn’t like GPhi but one of my friends said she was basically promised a bid and got dropped, and they were in her top two so she was super upset. Bad rep in GL this year, glad I didn’t end up there.
