Kappa used to be a top house but has fallen over the past few years. They have had a lot of problems within their chapter and recruitment did not go well for them last year at all.

Great house. Maybe not the best house but definitely top tier. I really admire there activeness in blood drive. All the girls are very genuine.

Terrible house. The girls are extremely rude to one another, and to other members of the Greek Community. They may be pretty, but underneath the glamor is a whole lot of fake cattiness.

In my opinion the best sorority at Iowa State. I wanted to be a Kappa going into recruitment and still think highly of them. Every one of them that I've met is down-to-earth, funny, and seems real! They get good grades and still some of the most social girls on campus. Everyone who posts rude things about kappa clearly just got cut from them during rush.

They act like everyone wants to be one of them, when in reality they didn't even come close to making quota for rush. The truth is finally coming out that kappa is a sorority that only cares about looks and drinking, if you want to join a true sisterhood with girls who actually respect each other, Kappa is not the way to go.

Has cliques. If they tried harder and slowed down with the boys and drinking they can gain some ground.

Going through recruitment I wanted to be a Kappa SO bad! The girls were so real, NICE, lovable, beautiful, and funny. Even though I am not a Kappa, I think so highly of them, and they gave an amazing impression of real genuine girls, when most houses did not.
