If you pick your house on whether you like the girls you meet and you feel a connection. Remember you will spend the next 4 years with these girls .

I'm a legacy to what is considered a lower tier house. Will this hurt my chances during recruitment?

Not unless you indicate that you are probably going to go to that house. If you have an open mind about it, other houses will be happy to poach a legacy from another house.

Being a legacy can both help and hurt you. Other houses may cut you because you're a legacy and if your legacy house cuts you (like MANY of OU's top houses do) you're in trouble. Keep an open mind and pay more attention to the girls in your group rather than the girls in the houses.

I've heard several OU houses have sleeping porches but hide the fact that they do. Does anyone know which ones really do?

Kappa, Tri Delt, and I think Pi Phi do for sure. Not sure about the other ones.

I've heard about the sleeping porches too and have also heard that Theta pledge classes can't move in the house til their junior year. Does anyone know if that's true?

I believe only Kappa and Tridelt have sleeping porches.
