Thoughts on the OU situation

As a Christian and graduate professional, I am completely disgusted by this situation at OU. We as Christians cannot use the Bible to get our way whenever we want. So many students at this school work so hard to create meaningful narratives in their assignments. Let’s call it what it is: a poorly written response. I can’t help but wonder if she would have fought back on her grade if she had a cisgender professor. I have been dealing with a lot of anger from this situation as it has created an extremely bad look on my religion. My relationship with God is present in all aspects of my life, however I would never abuse this relationship to push my personal narrative on others and refuse to take accountability. I hope OU and Panhellenic do the right thing by not rewarding this harmful behavior.
