rushing as a lesbian

I don’t want to hide who I am but I do want to be accepted. I feel like rushing without full disclosure is deceptive on my part but I want a fair shot as well. I’m torn. Thanks for those that responded.

You won’t be treated any differently. If you have good gpa, good conversation skills, and present yourself well you will get a bid somewhere. All the rules apply the same though, some houses cut on even a 3.5 gpa (on a 4.0 scale, the 5 point scale will be converted), some want even higher gpa, certain houses only recruit their connections, others on a certain look. But there are 7 or so houses that recruit outside those parameters.
One sorority even had a lesbian president. She gave a Ted talk I am sure you can find somewhere on YouTube.

You will be fine (or at least just as miserable as every other PNM during formal rush)🙄
