tri delta, theta, and pi phi
by: PNMI’m going to be rushing in the fall and I know you’re supposed to go in with an open mind, but these are the 3 houses I know the most people in/feel like I’ll connect with the most. I’m also a tri delt legacy. Can anyone tell me about each house? I don’t care about drama or rumors, just facts about involvement, sisterhood, ect. Thanks!

The 3 houses that you listed are among the Top 5 houses at OU, along with Chi O and Kappa. Everyone will tell you a different order in which they rank the top 5, but really everyone agrees that the Top 5 are Tri Delt, Theta, Pi Phi, Kappa and Chi O. They are the 5 sororities that the best fraternities want to hang out with.

Those are three top sororities but Chi O is not considered a top house no matter how many times this girl come on to comment that it is then agree with herself (and then sometimes deny that she is the one agreeing ha ha)

I know the truth hurts, Chi O. But reputation on campus doesn't lie. She's right Chi O is not top 5 and G Phi is sorry if you're mad about it

Wow, G Phi mom just won't quit! Bahahaha at her posting on here EVERY SINGLE day about G Phi being in the top 5. PNMs will see for themselves very soon that G Phi IS NOT in the top 5 sororities at OU, no matter how many times she posts her lies on here

i don’t think g phi is a bad house at all. they have a lot of sweet girls. my problem is their girls coming on here and lying about top 5 status to try and confuse PNMs before rush. but don’t worry, no amount of self ranking will hide the truth or change the top 5

Are you saying your opinion is the only valid opinion at OU? I also go there and I'm not a Kapppa, a Tri Delt, or a G Phi. But I think all those plus my house and one other are top 5. Have your own opinion but stop saying that people are lying if they disagree with you

This has been such a funny string of comments to read and the last comment is the funniest. She obviously doesn't know what everyone else knows -- this is an anonymous website. She has no idea what house anyone belongs to. Her prejudices are getting the better of her reasoning

Tri Delt, Theta, and Pi Phi are all great houses and are considered top houses.
Theta girls are super sweet and involved, and Theta has the best academics of any house. They are often seen as a religious house and most Thetas don't party very much except for a couple different groups within the chapter.
Tri Delt is also a very involved house with great sisterhood. They have great academics as well. Tri Delt is very mixed with the types of girls they recruit so there are many types of girls within the house. Most tri delts party but there are a lot that don't, and again there are a lot of religious girls in the house.
Pi Phi generally recruits really pretty girls. They aren't as involved as the other two houses mentioned but they are still a great house with great girls. It's pretty mixed as far as the girls that party and the girls that don't. They also aren't known for having the best sisterhood, but this totally depends on who you talk to.

Theta is known for smart girls. Kind of odd girls.
Tri delt is a good house but has lost its popularity. Last few pledge classes aren’t very good and have had a lot of drama this year.
Pi Phi has been known for having a bad sisterhood. Half the house has pretty girls and the other half is not. They like to party.
It’s interesting bc the person above claims XO is a top house as well as GPhi and nothing could be further from the truth. Neither are top houses.

STOP THE STUPID COMMENTS. Theta isn't odd. They're pretty much the top house at OU. You're not going to singlehandedly brand them as odd or weird. They're just not. And Tri Delta has not lost it's popularity and its last few classes have been good with little drama. I agree with your comments about Pi Phi and Chi O but would disagree about Gamma Phi. I put them in the top 5. They're probably even with Pi Phi and definitely better than the ones in the middle like A Phi, Chi O, AXO, and DG. So stop trying to feed PBMS a load of bs before recruitment.

It's the crazy G Phi poster who writes these hilarious things and thinks that someone might actually believe her LOL. I almost spit out my drink when she posted that G Phi is probably even with Pi Phi. I'm a Kappa, but have lots of Pi Phi friends and know that nobody has ever picked G Phi over Pi Phi, just sayin

if your a legacy to tri delt chances are your gonna get cut from Theta and Pi Phi unless you let them know you really are being open minded. I just know top houses don’t like to risk a spot for someone who’s a legacy to another good house. It has nothing to do with you and sometimes they’ll still try it’s just so competitive at OU.

this is the top 5 and nothing anybody can say or do will change it. these houses have the most legacies and the most women that are involved in them
