mean girls

I've personally heard it completely different, especially about KAT and DDD. From what I've heard from friends in those houses and observed, it seems like KAT tries to have a close sisterhood, but often seems pretty forced especially with the pressure of perfect grades & perception, etc that they seem to have on them. I have no idea why, mostly for financial or stress reasons, but for some reason most of the girls I know who have dropped out of their house tend to be from KAT and I remember having girls in the house telling me they thought about dropping/not enjoying the experience directly to me during rush in Theta. Again, I don't specifically know why (I'm assuming the pressure as its very obvious), but that definitely stood out to me and was off-putting. I felt very bad for those girls because you could tell they weren't comfortable at all (especially to TELL me that as a pnm during rush). It seems they focus more on keeping their stats up than focusing on the experience and relationships within the house in comparison to other houses.

And with DDD, they seem to have a stronger, more genuine sisterhood most of the time. But there is also another sense of pressure but more on the social/involvement scale. They're definitely go-getters, or at least prefer to be (I kind of see DG and AXO as the more genuine version of that, most of my friends in those houses tend to GENUINELY want to serve and be involved/do things in their careers rather than do them because they seem to feel they are expected to). In my experience, they've been known to be try-hards especially with trying to move their sisterhood/relationships within the house along (like, for example, I love my Tri-Delt friends but I can't help but always question whether they actually like me or hate me because they can seem too "happy"/"professional"/"goody-goody " ALL THE TIME even in private like they don't know when to turn it off, and they probably don't/are totally unaware of it to be honest, but it's odd how many Tri-Delts I know that are like that and have many friends from other houses that feel the same way about Tri-Delts they know). They're very into the idea of their fams, especially being close to their bigs/littles, which is great, but too often seem fabricated rather than genuine connection (yes, I know that definitely is the case for at least one fam in each house, but especially them for some reason). They've been known to always be "on" in the sense of not knowing when to let their guards down and be genuine rather than just what they want to perceive (think tour guide and Pan Prez/Official-like, which actually makes sense since over the years they often are or have at least a few Tri-Delts). They seem to truly have kind hearts with a true intention of forming a strong sisterhood if only they would relax for five seconds and be their true selves instead of trying to be what they think they need to be if you get what I mean.

LOL...Aphi and Kappa are known for being the rudest girls and mean. Nice try!

I have rarely met a friendly APhi or Kappa. They are probably nice to you Bc you’re in their house😂
