i don't get it

I am an OU student and I don't get what's going on here. It's like this board is run by one person who posts over and over with the same message against a house that everyone else at OU thinks is great. Whenever there is a post that she doesn't agree with she tries to belittle the poster (as I am sure she will do to my post) and throw out some more misinformation. I wouldn't care except that I have friends that are going through recruitment this year. Most are too savvy to fall for it, but I want to post this for the girls who don't know any greeks at OU.
Best advice: Don't fall for the scams on here pushing certain houses. Investigate for yourselves and see what a sorority is all about. They all have websites, facebook, twitter, etc. Check out the one decent post I've seen on here listing the award winners from last year and see how the different houses compete. Most of all, don't make up your mind until you go through recruitment. At each party, look at the girls in the houses from your school and that will give you a clue as to what the different houses value.
The best thing would be to get off this site entirely since there is very little real information and 90% postings that will try to mislead you. Remember: The person posting over and over has a summer job for her sorority. She's in charge of getting you to overlook their bad reputation on campus and their dismal showing in most campus competitions. We can't clean up all her messes, so be careful.

This is Greek rank- any post shouldn't just be taken at face value- but cramming this down people's throat repeatedly makes certain houses look desperate! So just stop and let people have their own opinions- no PMN's should believe anything here because they don't know if it's true ( no matter how many times it's posted) and saying it 52 times won't make anyone believe it more or less - but it does look like an attempt to control the site and FORCE opinions from anoynomous people down everyone's throat! And yes I write opinions because people who DO NOT attend OU and read this can't tell fact from fiction and those who DO attend know how all the houses rank and don't need to be told! Move on- get another platform.

One heart, for sure. One dedication to defending the greek community against hatred and misinformation. But 8 heads and 16 hands make the work light.

Crazy girl is at it again, running down the good houses, promoting her own house that must not be able to get girls without lying about their rank.
PNMs - don't fall for it. Look at the facts, not her lies about where her house ranks. The top houses place in events and her house must not have placed enough or at all. Otherwise she'd agree that you should look at the facts...

I can't stand the bickering back and forth on these posts. Everyone knows which houses are good and which ones are not. Posting the wrong order over and over doesn't make it right it just makes people get on and bicker with you. That being said, the correct order is:
Top: KKG/KAT/DDD/GPB
Rising: PBP
Problems: DG/AP/AXO/XO (falling)
Bottom: AOII/AGD
Just deal with it and go on without all this bickering!

No one really cares what house you're in. To spend this much time on it though, you obviously have a reason. You appear to be recruiting for a house that did poorly last year. You can't make it better doing this.
The only thing we care about is the truth. We don't care about control or manipulation -- that's not our goal. Our goal is to keep things classy and positive and counter the negative, nasty lies you're spreading.
