Kappa Alpha Theta - ΚΑΘ Sorority at The University of Oklahoma - OU 2.4 OU Theta Legacies Beware: Unless you have close friends already in the House from your hometown that can pull you in, cut Theta at the first opportunity so you have a chance with the other Houses. Does not matter how high your grades or ACT or reputation or honors and awards - OU Theta is attempting to diversify with the fewer legacies. The other Houses will assume that you will go Theta and cut you unless you cut Theta first. You will be sorry if you do not follow this advice!!!

Other houses have no idea which houses PNMs choose or cut. This comment is ridiculous.

Worst advice ever! If you know you don't want Theta, then fine. Drop them. But if you are undecided or think you might want them, keep them. If other houses ask about your legacy, tell them you're keeping an open mind - if you are.

Totally agree. Theta is known for cutting legacies, even those with sitting sisters, who are gorgeous and nice. Unless you have EXTREMELY good grades and test scores (which are all Theta really cares about), are a pageant queen, on OU Pom or cheer, or have really strong advocates in the house who live and breathe Theta' they will cut you...for sure. If you think you will be the exception, don't. Cut them first so you can have a good rush. Theta already knows who they are offering bids to.

The trolls don't need to worry about Theta. They are the top house because they don't worry about comparing houses but instead spend their time studying, volunteering, and socializing.

Stop saying you compete with us or the other top houses you don't you take girls we all cut every year who have no where else to pledge but the bottom house.

Kappa Alpha Theta - ΚΑΘ Sorority at The University of Oklahoma - OU 4.6 Theta is known as a top 3 house for being Jesus-y and winning 10 semesters in grades. However, Theta is so much more. While many girls do have their fun, majority have great self worth/respect while doing so. While some may let being a top tier get to their head, exec is really persistent on working hard & being loving to everyone on campus and that no rides on coattails of simply being a Theta. These girls THRIVE on campus due to their world changing mindset. You'd be blessed to be a Theta.
