grade cuts

by: question

How do you know if you were cut for grades. Do they actually tell you that or do you just guess?

If you had below a 3.0 you can just assume it was for grades.

My daughter was cut from 2 middle tier but invited back for 2 top tier. Would that be for grades? I would think top tier would cut for grades first

or it could be for the simple fact that top tier has already claimed her and middle tier doesn't want to waste their time on her if they know that top tier is more likely to get her...

This is more likely. Middle tier will drop a girl claimed by top tier.

also, middle tier requires connections every bit as much as the top tier. Especially kappa and dg.

Could be connections kept her alive in the top tier.

PNMs do not know the reason they were released as membership selection is private. Recruitment is also extremely competitive, so it could just be that they ranked other PNMs higher. Your daughter (and you) should just focus on who invited her back, rather than who did not.

No girl will ever know why she was released from a chapter. LET IT GO. LET IT GO. LET IT GO. There are a million reasons why a girl is not invited back, or simply isn't high enough on the invitation list. They may not have dropped her, but houses are limited on how many girls can be invited back.

Focus on the houses that did like you (or your daughter) enough to invite you back!!
