this doesn't mean there isn't wiggle room...you never know when you're gonna fall in love with a PNM during a party.

Top houses basically know who they want already, mid houses have a list of girls they already know and want but there's room for unknown PNMs, and bottom houses have a bunch of empty spots open for their new PC.
Each house does their list differently, so I wouldn't say that telling a PNM that there's time is an "illusion" because that might be the case for their house. How can we know for sure? That's why we have rush.
PNMs, we don't have our bid lists done. No one does (ok, maybe DDD and XO...maybe). An active can love or not like you, and that can change the outcome. Saying that we have our bid lists done is stupid. The PNM may not like our house or a bunch of actives don't want the PNM, that happens.
@^^^, she maybe a sophomore who hasn't been on the other side but you have no idea how her house works. Maybe she's a Theta who is telling the PNM that there's a place for her at the Theta house, or a XO who doesn't have a rush crush yet and is hoping to find a girl she likes before rush. YOU have no idea..

Since there are so many girls rushing , can an active have more than one rush crush ?

Of course we can have more than one rush crush! We might have three girls from our high school (who we love) and we really want them all to be in our sorority!
HOWEVER, things don't always go to plan. One girl might have bad grades and one girl might love an other house. Once those girls have been dropped or have dropped us, we focus our attention to our last rush crush left and rush the heck out of them.
Before rush, we have a lot of crushes but when it's after philanthropy round it narrows down to one girl

What about you take a grammar lesson? I have no idea what you're trying to ask us.
"What houses invite back lists do you think are already basically done?", are you wondering if we already know who we're inviting back after round one or are you asking for a bid day list? How are we supposed to know who we're inviting back? There's 1800 PNMs, a house may have a list of 200 girls who we already know, maybe 30-50 of them don't have grades or connections so they're gone (or something) and maybe 30-50 girls don't like the sorority. How are we supposed to know, OP? How about you go through rush and accept whatever happens happens and give it your best shot.

They don't already have their bid lists done, but they do already have their lists done through skit. They already know exactly who will be dropped after first round. And they know exactly who they will carry through skit.
