by: ActivePNMs: I'm going to say this again... Please watch what you put on social media. I know that Insta post shows off your toned booty on the beach, but it isn't appropriate. I know you look super cute with that margarita, but it isn't appropriate. I know he asked you to prom practically naked with a funny sign, but please don't post that. We see your pictures, even if you are set to private. If you post something inappropriate, chances are you're already being talked about in our sorority GroupMe. Actives under 21 aren't allowed to post pictures with alcohol, so clearly pnms should either. KKG, pi phi, and adpi might not care.. But XO, KD, DG, DDD, and Phi Mu do. I'm not trying to be rude. I'm trying to be helpful. Don't post anything you wouldn't want an influential alumni or rush chair to see.

Very true!!!!! Some PNMs have no clue that some of the things that they're posting are just going to hurt them in the long run. But honestly, why would houses want a girl who just hides who she really is for social media??? If she is the kind of girl who gets asked to prom by her almost naked boyfriend, then I think that she should share that with the world instead of blindsiding XO DDD KD DG and Phi Mu and making them think she's something she isn't.

I'm a kappa. And we care. You better believe girls have already sent around pictures of girls who are practically naked with drinks in their hand. I don't know why the original poster would ever think that ANY sorority wouldn't care. But thanks for acting like the same rules don't apply Kappa, when they clearly do.

lol and that's why Pi Phi and Kappa are the best! They don't care! They're just a bunch of pretty girls that want to have fun and don't care about their sororities "Rep". In all honesty a lot of sororities at OleMiss try way to hard with this stuff, but if you are a girl that loves to have fun and doesn't want to be caught up in the BS "Image" of your sorority, definitely rush Pi Phi or Kappa! The girls in these sororities are so much more chill and fun to hang out with.

You honestly think all Kappas, Pi Phis, and ADPIs are crazy partiers, while the rest aren't? Have you ever been to a party at Ole Miss? Girls in every sorority like to have fun, and there's nothing wrong with that. While I do agree that PMNs should be very cautious about what they post, please leave the name calling out of this.

I'm not saying that kd and xo girls don't party. I'm just saying that they're supposed to hide it. They aren't allowed to post pics of it and don't want their pnms doing it either. KKG and pi phi don't care as much. They'll take the party pnms with bad social media if they're pretty. It's the truth. Nothing against those sororities. I have fun with kappas every weekend. There's nothing wrong with partying, just don't advertise it.

A bikini pic or 2 is okay. More than that is too much! Honestly, we get tired of seeing your bikini pictures plastered all over social media. it makes you look desperate for attention.

No! As long as you hid your cup, you don't look plastered, or there's no pic of you making out with a random guy. In my opinion, it's okay for PNMs to go to bars because you meet so many people there. Everyone goes to bars so it's okay that you went to one to have a good time out. Just make sure there's no alcohol in any picture.

this post is really embarrassing for Kappa and Pi Phi. I'm the Kappa who posted above, and I certainly don't think it makes either of our sororities look good. I do have to agree that we really don't care about our sorority's "ranking" because only shallow people really care about that. But to say that we don't care about our girls is dumb. I can only speak for Kappa, but I know that our memeber's accounts are monitored and if there is something inappropriate on them, they will be asked to remove it.
