Is it really that bad if you don't have letters of support when you have a great resume and are good looking and friendly

It depends on the sorority and the connections you have in each.

You definitely need rec letters for each sorority. You will be cut from majority of houses if you go into recruitment without anything!

I think y'all are getting a little confused on what she's talking about.

You need at least one letter of recommendation for each house or you run a HUGE chance of being cut do to some sorority's policies. Get more than 1 if you can but as long as you have 1, you should be okay.

Get a few letters of support (different than a letter of recommendation) for each chapter if you can! Again, not absolutely necessary. But it could be very beneficial in the long run if you go into it prepared.
