alone

I am going to orientation by myself. My parents want me to go by myself because I will be so far away from home and they want to get a taste of it. My question is, when do summer classes start, and what bars could I go? Is it easy to meet people? because I want to go out but I don't wanna look like a loner.

I would stick to the activities they have planned for you during orientation. They will have parties planned for at night. They will be more fun than the bars and you will have the opportunity to meet more people than the bars!
