by: CuriousI'm deciding between Bama and ole miss, it basically comes down to the Greek life. Can somebody who actually is in a sorority, please list some reasons why ole miss Greek life is better? Because I know Bama is building some pretty nice sorority houses, and constantly trying to boost there Greek system. I say this with respect, I'm not trying to tear down any schools, I'm just curious.

Ole Miss has rolling admissions. So does Bama. I had acceptance letters from both schools by October as well.
Go to Bama if you want to attend school in a small city. Go to Ole Miss if you want to go to school in a small town.
Ole Miss sororities are more locally run. Bama sororities are all run by "the machine" Bama sororities are way, way more wild!

Very true. They post a lot of photos of drinking at their houses and bid day photos with beer, in their letters. Think I'm lying? Pictures all over instagram of Phi Mus at their pool house on bid day with drinks. During rush week one of my friends had her banner photo on FB in her letters, crown and was holding a natty lite. Awesome.

both schools have hardcore greek life. Alabama has more sororities, therefore more choices. With less sororities to choose from, Ole Miss rush may be more competitive if looking to join a top tier sorority. Also, theres a huge price difference. While sororities here are around 1500-2000 a semester, alabama's cost about 3,500+ a semester.

I'm not only choosing based on Greek life. I have got accepted and narrowed it down to these two schools. I like both towns and safe at both schools. Greek life is the deciding factor.
