Just because you are at quota, doesn't mean you have to go over like a lot of houses did. It a calculation based on how many girls you preffed. Panhellenic is trying to get as many girls in houses as possible. Chapters that are right at the quota number do it on purpose.

Every quota additions means somebody didn't match and would have been dropped if a sorority hadn't agreed to bid them. Some of the top houses purposely kept their pledge classes small. Panhellenic also forced the top houses to drop more girls earlier on. They preffed far less girls than some of the other houses.
Please get your facts straight before putting down houses.

Quota additions are GIVEN based on how the girls who would have been dropped but maximized their choices ranked the houses. Houses CANNOT PURPOSELY CHOOSE NOT to get quota additions. That's a blatant lie.
Yes, more popular houses have to make more cuts, but the houses that are at quota didn't get quota additions because the PNMs ranked them lower in comparison to the other houses they preffed.
So DG was likely ranked lower than the other highly competitive houses by pnms. And Theta was likely ranked lower than every house, even ADPi.

Once a house reaches quota, the house can totally choose not to issue any additional bids. Some of the better houses choose quality over quantity. How else do you expect them to keep their exclusive reputation up?

The fact that the "top" houses took any quota additions...I believe DDD got the smallest number of just 1 means that they did not make the special agreement they were supposed to in order to not take quota additions.
Therefore any quota additions were MANDATORY. Chapters couldn't get out of taking quota additions.

No sorority was forced to take quota additions.
When you only pref 150 girls it's a darn Miracle that only 19 girls picked another house.

The first respondent forgot to mention the other sororities. ADPi had a really good rush and is filled with smart, amazing, pretty girls, Theta and Pi Phi has unbelievable girls as well with a large pledge class. AOII's has the highest GPA in their chapter history. Everyone had a good rush

maybe only know ~30 girls each house got right now, and I doubt you know each one extremely well out side of rush too. Each house got at least 130 girls. We have NO IDEA how everyone did until a few weeks form now when people start getting involved, going out, doing competitions, etc. Any talk on bid day is straight self promotion or trying to tear certain houses down. ((Maybe by not even including them because you're so high and mighty you don't feel the need to.....))
