No, there was not variable quota this year. Quota was 186 for everyone but the differences in nm numbers are due to quota additions, not variable quota. The houses that invite back more pnm's per round end up with more pnm's at pref and therefore take more quota additions. Quota additions are how pnm's are guaranteed a bid if they rank both pref houses even when it puts a chapter over quota. Standard recruitment rfm stuff. AOPi took 249 I think.

It looked like a good sized group on bid day but they said 159 on instagram and obviously I didn’t count day-of so I just took their word for it. Maybe a typo?

LOL those girls were invited to their pref and on their bid list! Quota additions are just regular bids that happen during bid matching, there is no distinction whatsoever. And only the recruitment advisor and recruitment chairman know the chapter's final bid matching result. Everybody else in the chapter just finds out who is running home.

A chapter can't snap above quota, so if they took above quota they didn't snap, and they didn't COB either because that can't happen until at least 24 hours after bids are opened or until the new Total has been set. If they took above quota then they did it by bid matching to quota and taking quota additions. For the last time LOL

Ddd did not meet quota. This is factual They took 159 girls and not by choice as being said.
There have been no snap bids nor cobs yet that anyone knows of. It will be interesting to see if Panhellenic holds them to the rules. Very surprising this happened to them.
