Rush Questions 2025
by: AnonHow do all these oos girls afford ole miss and the ability to rush? School alone is 50,000 and rush fees and going out range up to 5k. Do people that attend ole miss oos and rush have endless amounts of money or just go into debt??? Im from oos and so many girls from my high school are coming and I'm just wondering how since there not rich rich. This is my dream so I just want a honest answer and opinion.

Absolutely correct, my daughter goes to Ole Miss we are out of state but with ACT and GPA its almost like we are instate. yes we are helping pay the bills but being involved in the Greek system is a net positive. Academics are the most important but the social experience in college if vital. I was a DU at Florida and I am still in contact with brothers. Best of Luck, Important - KEEP an OPEN MIND about the houses and trust the process. From what I learned last year many young ladies who only want a specific sorority were disappointed (even legacies). enjoy the purgatory that is sorority rush, and find a house that you like and welcomes you! FYI - my daughter is not a "froufrou" sorority girl but she found a great house and LOVES it! Just one old Dad's opinion make your own decisions! Hotty Toddy, and Go Gators!
