the lane train

why's everyone excited about him? he's 66-51 as a head coach.
more importantly, he's dying stock. Went from a NFL head coach, to head coaches at primer college programs (Tenn, then Univ of Southern California), to offensive coordinator at Bama, to Head coach at Florida Atlantic.
Was going to say, who in the hell would even want to be our coach, we play Bama and LSU every year and Auburn and A&M. Then you realize Lane is going from $950K at Florida Atlantic to $4M+, so makes sense why he would come here (money grab).
Honestly I think we are over paying for a has been

what are you talking about?
Lane was actually making more money as an offensive coordinator at bama then he was as a head coach at FAU.
Problem is Lane thought he was great and publically said he wanted out since he thought he'd have a good head coaching job (Texas, Michigan, Ohio State, etc) but none of those bite and he had to settle at FAU.
