xo legacy from another state

I’m going through recruitment next week and I am a double xo legacy (mom, grandma). They were xo’s from a top sec school, but not Ole Miss. I know no one can predict what will happen and I like a lot of the girls I have met from other houses. Does anyone know if they take a lot of legacies? I have heard they take a high percentage. I am certainly not expecting a bid, but would like to know if anyone can give a fair estimate. I would be happy with anything I get invited to.

in a similar situation but not xo. would almost rather be far oos with no Greek connections than to feel the pressure of not getting the house your family and friends expect you too. dreading Sunday.

Chi o does take a high number of legacies, but they tend to sway more towards chapter legacies. Could honestly go either way for you though, best of luck

obviously ole miss legacy > oos legacy.

but chio is very legacy based. in fact, if you are not a legacy (in state or out of state) your odds of going Chi o is close to 0%.

If you have active friends and know actives, then I'd say you have a great shot at chio. Over 80%. If you don't know anyone and just show up as a OOS legacy then the chances are less than 50%.

Only top tier (ddd, xo, kd) that doesn't care about legacy is kd. xo is most legacy based, so you got that under your belt.

mid tier (dg, kkg, phimu, piphi) being a legacy almost guarantees you in. aside from kkg, they look at few other things
