Rankings are fine but bottom at Ole Miss is not equal to middle at other SEC schools. Middle chapters at my school have over a 3.75-3.4 GPA and raise over $50,000 yearly for their philanthropies.


That argument simply doesn't hold water...

While I will somewhat agree with you, grades are not the only measuring stick when determining how good the sorority is.

Honestly, I have no idea how much money is raised by each chapter, how do we find that out? All I know is how much my chapter raised and it was well WELL over $50,000! I would think most of our chapters raise more than that.

Grades should have been 3.3 to 3.4. Top GPA on my campus was over a 3.5 with only one sorority below a 3.25 GPA.

I'm not knocking anything about Ole Miss Greek life because it's great. It's simply false that bottom tier at Ole Miss is better than middle tier at other schools. That comment is only true for schools with a weak Greek system. If the UM girls I know had rushed at my school they would be in the same level of sorority.
