bad relations

If I have bad relations with 1 girl in a certain chapter does that mean I couldn't get into that chapter, even though I have recs and other friends in the chapter?

Yes your 5 minutes of "fake conversations will be absolutely worthless if a sister doesn't like you and speaks up.

Most of the above posters are right- the back office can shut down the process with just one girl. More than likely this girl will tell her closest friends and they will also vote against you. Many cuts in the first round are due to this- at least what I have seen working back office for seven years in a housed chapter. There are lots of other chapters- don't sweat it- you can focus on the others.

There's absolutely no reason to be rude to a girl during recruitment but we respect our sisters. We all have a chance to voice our concerns about PNMs. If you ever caused harm to one of our sisters or she is very uncomfortable about you becoming our sister then we will respect her wishes. It isn't about being petty or judgmental. It's respect for the safety and happiness of our sisters. If you felt uncomfortable about the situation would you want to see that person everyday? So yes one girl will hurt your chances but there's 22 other chapters you may get in.

Chances are that if you did something to this sister to make her dislike you, the other sisters wouldn't like you either. Karma comes back to haunt a lot of mean girls when they come through recruitment. You should have been a nicer person.

Chill. We aren't mortal enemies. We just don't like each other. I figured in a house of 200 girls I wouldn't even have to see her too often one on one and if I did I'd just say hi and bye type deal.
