why dphie is doing informal recruitment?

I'm probably going for the informal events and just check them out and see what kind of girls I would be rushing with. You got nothing to lose.

I have a couple of friends in DPhiE and while they've gotten some hate on GR, in real life, they seem like sweet girls who have a close sisterhood.
Check them out and if it doesn't feel like a fit, you aren't obligated to join. I haven't heard of any other houses doing recruitment this spring now that SK has chosen their colonizing class.

Because they had a disastrous formal recruitment and only got 11 new members. I'm not sure if all of them even showed up or continued. They really need new members bad or they will close. So you should check them out since it seems like an easy way to join Greek life!

What is the difference between the formal and informal recruitment? How does that work If DPhiE only got 11 girls from formal recruitment, do they expect a massive rush of girls for the informal?

If you check out their instagram they have their events posted, I don't think their events start until this upcoming week. I hope girls give them a fair chance. It only takes one good pledge class to turn a chapter around.
