Duh no. Pi Kapps will still own it.

They need to be established before they can even consider pulling the trigger on that one. No sorority would go forth without a guarantee of consistent recruiting. Otherwise its a financial risk. Basically it'll be 3-5 years before they can attain one.

But at IU isn't having a house like basically going to make them have an easier time recruiting.

Look, it's obvious you're in one of the tiny unhoused sororities that will never have a house at IU and have some kind of insecurity fueled rage against SK before they even colonize. But you have no clue what their housing plans are, because you're dead wrong in your post. So go back and work on your sorority and try to make it a great place even without a house. SK has their housing covered already.

There was nothing in that post that was insecure. SK already lost a house on this campus. Housing land is scarce. No way they are going to start building before their membership and recruitment is assessed. 3 years min.

Is this 3-5 years actually written down anywhere? People keep saying it like you can never waver from it and I don't think that's true. If some billionaire Sigma Kappa wanted to pay Pi Kapps twice the asking price for their house and put people in it as soon as the colony gets picked I don't think anyone could do anything about it.

Pi Kapp is not stupid enough to sell their house, even if they get kicked off. They would rent it. And no one is going to pay above market rate for the POS house. And "billionaire" Sigma Kappa is pushing it a little bit - don't you think?

There are several other fraternities in competition to get a house as well. I don't think people realize it takes money to renovate bathrooms and such for girls to use and no frat would pay for those to temporarily rent out a house. Unless your kicked off for an extended time like ato

No it isn't. It's going to be much sooner. That stupid IUstandards is talking out of her ass again. She has a vendetta against Sigma Kappa and has no idea what its internal plans are. My guess is she's in one of the forever unhoused sororities and is trying to hurt the recruitment of the new chapter that has so much more going for them.

Pi kapps not getting kicked off...where do you fools get this info from? Don't you think it's funny how you guys waste your time thinking of hypothetical scenarios for a situation that is nonexistent?
