How competitive will spring rush be?

There will be 'unicorns' with a perfect rush who never get dropped, and then there will be girls who are dropped from nearly everywhere. IU sorority rush used to be far worse before the new live-out policies. For example, the 'top tier' sororities only had spots for 27 new members. Now all houses are required to take 50. Still, I think the final percentage of those who register and then land a house is 45%ish, but keep in mind that some are cut due to grades, and others drop out of rush. Several years ago rush was such a shambles that a lot of sororities did snap bids because they didn't get the right numbers through pref but the new live-out policy and quota of 50 has mostly done away with the need for those last minute bids.

Good job on writing the paragraph. Now you just need to learn how to read.

Less guys rushing but also pledge classes are a lot smaller so it is what it is. If you're a freshman you're at an advantage because your floormates and friends that have rushed are actives now so you can use them to dirty rush.
