by: Incoming freshmanCan I join the cycling team if I start pledging or do I need to wait until I become a brother. Also, will cycling help my chances of getting into a middle/top house? I've trained for a while now and was wondering how hard it is to get on a cycling team.

Some fraternities do give out bike bids where they are obviously giving out bids to the best bikers many houses have gotten new bike rooms recently so that is what they do to make sure they put them to good use you would be able to start practicing right away with the team and might be able to get out of some of the bad parts of pledging. Most fraternities however if you join normally you can bike whenever as well you just wont get special treatment but it isn't hard to get on the team at most places.
