Get your facts straight, Indiana is not the only campus with live in requirements, check out University of Washington if you want another university with a strict live in requirement. They move their brand new freshman into the houses the week before school starts. The houses hold 90+ women, so like I said get your facts straight!

a lot of them didn't rush and wanted an unhoused.. you need to grow up and realize that your sorority status isn't going to get you anywhere in the real world.

There's over 30 fraternities that the guys have to go through during rush and there's 22 sororities total

And most of those fraternities are small and not any guys who most girls would want to socialize with at all

The unhoused sororities are at least equal to adpi pair wise. They pair with the same people as AGD, but not as often. ADPi isn't even supposed to be pairing this semester and at least one frat won't pair with them because of their trouble, so yes, the unhoused sororities have the same social lives as housed sororities and are more relevant than at least ADPi.

Honestly Dphie never got the chance to gain ground at IU since girls knew SK was coming so close to Dphie. Dphie is more so the victim of timing than anything else. So Dphie ends up with the girls that truly would take a bid from anywhere just to have one.

DphiE had just as much time to stabilize as TPA had prior to ASA coming to campus, so I am not buying that.

But ASA wasn't advertised as better than TPA and getting a house. Also the unhoused chapter idea was still pretty new. Now with 2 soon to be 3 unhoused chapters, Dphie happens to be the least popular of them.

Is SK really being advertised as better than DphiE? Or is this a perceived slight? The article in the IDS did say they (SK) were getting a house in the near future. I understand that this might be an advantage, but why is it being held against them? I guess I just don't understand the real issue at hand.

Dphie is just looking for someone to blame for their poor recruitment results when they should actually be looking at themselves for the answer.

No they did not all come here intending to get a house. They said somewhere in the distant future at Rush last year. SK is advertising to get a house basically after they get a couple years worth of dues and stability and that's the difference. TPA is in no hurry to get a house and they've been here the longest.

^^ TPA has never said getting a house was a goal. They like the apartment set up they have. ASA has said they eventually would like one, but I don't think they are within 3-5 years of getting one. DPhiE is no where near stable enough to begin the housing process. SK has a housing plan in place with time frames and have already begun asking for alumnae donations. They will have one in 3-5 year. If housing is important to you SK is your best bet. True if you are a freshman you might see it your senior year, but you will know you contributed to it and be able to come back someplace for homecoming.

Leasing is a house is a waste of money when you're trying to save up to build. You don't get to keep the house and everyone knows ATO will get it back in a few years anyway. You're putting money into something that's not yours.
