Farewell To Sammy

by: Yeah

Dear Former Brothers of Sammy,

I hope this letter finds you well. It is with a heavy heart that I am writing to inform you of my decision to part ways with our fraternity. The time we've spent together has been filled with memorable moments and shared laughter, and I want to express my gratitude for the camaraderie we once shared.

When I first joined Sammy, the excitement of brotherhood and the promise of unforgettable experiences were the driving forces behind my decision. We embarked on this journey together, and for a while, it was indeed fun. However, as time has passed, I have observed aspects of our fraternity culture that I can no longer ignore.

One issue that has weighed heavily on me is the use of racial slurs within our fraternity. It is disheartening to witness a lack of awareness and sensitivity towards the impact of such language. Brotherhood should be built on respect and understanding, but these instances have made it difficult for me to feel truly connected.

Additionally, the excessive focus on mid-parties has taken away from the deeper bonds that should be forming within our brotherhood. While I understand the desire for a lively social scene, it seems that the true essence of brotherhood is being overshadowed by these events. A stronger emphasis on meaningful connections and shared values would contribute to a more fulfilling fraternity experience.

Finally, I must address the sense of poor brotherhood that has become increasingly evident. Our fraternity is meant to be a support system, a group of individuals who uplift and inspire one another. Unfortunately, I have found that the bonds I hoped to forge have been strained by the behaviors and attitudes that have permeated our fraternity culture.

It is not without careful consideration and a heavy heart that I have come to the conclusion that my values and expectations no longer align with those of Sammy. I believe that in order to grow as individuals, we must surround ourselves with environments that foster personal development, understanding, and empathy.

I sincerely wish all of you the best in your future endeavors, and I hope that Sammy can evolve into a fraternity that truly embodies the principles of brotherhood, inclusivity, and mutual respect.

Thank you for the memories and the lessons learned.
