PNW thats never drank??

by: gimmebid

Do I have a chance of getting a bid? Im genuinely curious, all my high school friends are planning to rush and don’t want to be left out. I did boy scouts and played JV hs basketball. Im interested in rushing and the idea of partying and belonging in a brotherhood. I grew up in a religious family and don’t drink because of a promise I have made to God through my church. If i explain my faith and commitment during rush will frats bid me? Will they understand or should I lie?

Focus on the baseball over religion. Respectfully, frat/hookup culture runs directly counter to religion. It may not even be something you want. Once you’re in you can do whatever, but girls in sororities pulling up to phi kapps in bikinis on a Tuesday are on the whole not “god fearing”

BYX is a Christian frat that doesn’t throw parties/drink. Christian fellowship has a house on Jordan and is a similar vibe. These would probably be better options for you than a traditional IFC frat

The Christian Student Fellowship house on Jordan is a great community. They had a bbq during little 5 and gave out free food, so guy from my house went and grabbed some. Genuine people. I would recommend looking into it.
