Joining frat at 22?

by: new

I will enroll as a freshman next year. I know I am kinda in the older range for a college student but I had a lot to deal with in the past.

I am very social and friendly and quite decent looking. I simply want the full college experience!

Will I be rejected for simply being a bit older?

Rush a mid tier or lower tier frat. You will have a lot of fun. Don’t bother with top tier. Houses.

Sorry for being ignorant of something so basic but...

How do you tell the difference between high, mid, and low tier frats?

Whats the difference? You all have a brotherhood and party with sororities.

Not all houses are the same. Some will judge you but other houses are not as superficial and would welcome you to rush. Ask around.

Dude I already do that whenever I want. I just want the full college experience lol.

Anyways aren’t frat parties supposed to be classier and better and what not because of their exclusivity. Literally anyone can walk into a bar, like 40, 50 and 60 year olds lol.

I’m going to be real, this school is filled with a bunch of snotty entitled conceited kids who aren’t going to try and understand why someone might end up going to college later than normal or wanting to have a normal college experience. Especially in Greek life, the majority of people are just going to judge you off your age and wonder why you’re there.

There are probably some houses that will give you the benefit of the doubt, but most won’t.
