How is APhi the top house?
by: ????I'm a freshman who is thinking about going through recruitment and I am just curious as to how APhi is even considered the top house. I've heard horror stories from that house and that I need to stay the hell away from it. I get that they have a bunch of pretty girls, but so do other houses and their girls are actually cool. Is there something I'm missing?

Firstly I think a lot of it has to do with money. They flaunt their wealth a lot and this is something frat boys like. Not all frat boys, but a large amount like small, rich girls and don’t care that much if they aren’t nice. And basically frat guys opinion dictates who is “top” so if a lot of these guys are attracted to a girl socialized like that, that’s why they are considered that.
So that is probably why people see it that way, but it doesn’t mean you need to care about that world/way of thinking! You can choose people and environments that attract good character and energy instead :)

this is true for most houses but Aphi recruits girls based on looks and money and that is a fact. why do you think most aphi girls have the personality of drywall

It’s absolutely not rumors. Everyone I know who went through recruitment had the same experiences of aphis asking them what their parents do, how much money they have, where they vacation, etc. and obviously get dropped for not being their ideal member looks-wise. An Aphi chapter somewhere in the midwest did an expose on how nationals makes them recruit, and it’s pretty much based on looks
