Confused on rush
by: ?Why do some houses do informal recruitment and others don’t? Some do fall and spring too? Very confused?

There’s a million reasons why. Top houses usually do informal because specific girls they want couldn’t make the GPA cut for formal recruitment, or dirty rushed them and promised them an informal bid so the girl didn’t even have to go through recruitment. Other houses might do it because their ratio of ppl graduating is off so they need more sophomores/juniors. Bottom houses usually do it because they have a harder time getting a big pc during recruitment and want more girls

All this is true, i’d also add that if houses feel that formal recruitment isn’t going to be very successful so like not a lot of girls signing up and they would get a smaller pc, they’ll usually do informal in the fall to guarantee themselves a few girls they want
