informal vs formal rush for frats

i know someone in beta. can i do informal rush in the fall? what is the difference between informal and formal rush? i’m a sophomorw btw

Formal is where you rush all the houses you want (I think its 6) and choose a house you get a bid from. Informal is a bit after formal if a frat needs more numbers in the pc or they just might've missed you when giving out bids during formal.
