As far as open informal goes it’s usually only DPhiE SK TPA & ASA it definitely could be different this year with everything that is going on but most houses have a policy where if they dropped you once unless something has changed drastically about you or your situation they’re going to drop you again. so if you got dropped by a house during formal the chances you get a bid from that house during informal are slim to none.

So like I just said those are the houses that usually do it but some more houses may do it this year. The point is if you got cut from them now they’re going to cut you again in 3 weeks. Same goes for rerushing as a sophomore so if nothing has changed then dont expect anything to change

I’m sorry but you got your answer those are the only houses that do open informal. People talking about cob (whether they’re using that term correctly or not) are referring to a house doing invite only informal events to get some more numbers or giving out a handful of bids to girls that people in the house know really well without even doing any sort of event. It’s common for houses other than those four to give out bids after formal but they aren’t open events

No one will know until recruitment is over. Let's say quota ends up at 50. There are some top houses that may only match with 48. They could do COB and offer bids to two people that the chapter members know well (think a roommate that didn't go through recruitment but lots of people know.) They can extend 2 bids quickly to fill the 2 open spots. Then there is informal where the chapter actually engages with outside people that no one knows. This is when they want more than just a few. There could be 5 or 6 chapters in this boat. No one knows what will happen until it happens.
