future pledge w some questions

I'm wanting to join a frat in the spring but I have a few questions first. How much does is cost, and can you live in the frat house over the summer or do you need to get your own place? When does the pledge process start?

Actual dues are usually between $500 and 2 grand but with cost of housing it's 8-10k per year for most frats. Some houses can be lived in over the summer but most people move out. Rush starts in February and you fill out an app on the IFC website.
