Informal Sorority Recruitment

How is informal recruitment? Are you treated differently by the girls in the house? Is it worth it? I went through recruitment in the spring but didn’t get the house I wanted.

Truth is the house you want might not be the one you end up in. Also if you go through recruitment again this spring you still might not get the house you want. The house that gives you a bid is probably the one you’ll be the happiest in. Keep in mind you only talk to maybe 5-8 girls during the whole recruitment. That’s not the entire chapter. If you want to go through informal that’s up to you. You are not treated any differently. You get to know the girls more 1 on 1 as opposed to 5 min convos which can be a good thing if you felt rushed in formal
