sophomore quotas

no such thing as “quotas”, and I’ve never heard about houses being required to take sophomores. the point is that there will always be more freshmen than sophomores to balance out the pledge classes. if it’s mostly sophomores, when those sophomores graduate the house wont have any juniors/seniors left and that throws off the balance. in general, houses will always look for more freshmen than sophomores

35-50? no way. It’s 50-60, facts. And out of those 50-60 maybe 10-15 are sophomores at most. Houses will always recruit more freshmen through formal, if you’re a sophomore and want to get a bid do informal

Most houses talking like other than the unhoused ones that actually initiate is 35-50 girls. Out of 1700 girls going through rush about 25-30 are sophmores

this year there were over 200 girls who were sophomores that rushed so I am unsure of the 25-30 number and where that came from

this year was an exception because last year when chio stopped recruiting many girls dropped rush and overall it threw off people’s ranks, so many sophomores who didnt get bids through informal decided to rush again. next year wont be the same thing, probably way less sophomores

The pc’s of houses for girls is between like 35-50 for most. Some are a lot smaller but there’s no quota on the amount of sophomores. Most girls rush as freshmen. I rushed as a sophomore and there were about 25 sophomores rushing
