phi tau hate????????

I don’t get the phi tau hate. I have a friend who’s in phi tau and he’s cool af. I met a lot of guys and they were pretty chill and I was thinking about rushing there next year. Why is everyone saying they’re weird af, have y’all even met or partied w them ever? Ik they get hate cuz it’s first year on campus, but most of the members got recruited fall and spring and their pretty chill dudes? Lmk
