summer rush as a sophomore?

I am interested in rushing FIJI or Sigma Chi during the summer as a sophomore. But how does their pledging work? Not asking for specifics, just wondering if their pledging is year-round or only a semester long. Im seriously considering it so i need info about how summer rush works. I know someone in Sigma Chi who I can ask but I completely forgot to ask him.
