by: IU

I’m an active in a house and trust me, this question is not to shame anyone but to help out all the girls who dropped rush.

Let’s post the list of all sororities still taking new members. Ladies, if you are sad you missed the fun on bus night, contact these houses asap

Why are houses who took quota or in some cases more than quota participating in informal? I thought houses that made quota didn’t do informal? Just wondering

@ ?
To bring them up to house total. Sometimes quota isn’t enough if you’ve got people abroad, etc.

Chapters like tpa are unhoused and don’t have a limit on the pc they can take so they do informal to give girls who dropped a chance at Greek life. Chapters like dphie and asa do it to get a full pc because they didn’t reach even half of the quota. The quota system kind of messed up their recruitment this year but I think informal will work out for them

I don’t get why a house does informal when they didn’t take girls that wanted to be in? Is it hopeless to email them?

I am not sure because same here. Heard that houses that meet quota or go over do informal as way of hedging. All houses have drops after bids or later, some have a more flexible live out policy, some have a higher philanthropy or target, more study abroad. This might be better than COB(fall or spring).
