Rest assured Aphis executive office does NOT decide who the IU chapter gives bids to! Think how ludicrous that even is....there are 172 active chapters and they are not going to hyper focus on IU! Now, with that being said like all the other sororities they have woman to the house for dinner and house tours PRIOR to recruitment. This is standard for all houses and APhi follows the same Panhellenic guidelines as everyone else.
And, like every other house there are leadership consultants from home office to make sure recruitment is running smoothly. These are the same LC's that spend time with every chapter. These consultants are woman that recently graduated and it is a year long, paid position. This is typical of every sorority.
Like all the sororities, APhi does have woman in mind that they are interested in. But in the end their recruitment process is no different than anyone else.

As an alum of APhi I can honestly say it’s all heresy by girls that got cut. I LOVED my experience and never had sn issue with this chapter. We did not do the things you imply...SO unless you are a member or an alum your thoughts and opinions mean nothing. Jealousy runs deep when you don’t get the things you want. I firmly believe as strict as IU has gotten if what you imply was true (which it isn’t) APhi would either be on C&D or probation which again it isn’t.
All the haters need to get a life and quit trying to bash another chapter...learn to embrace all others to make IU the best it can be! Alpha Phi love to you. ❤️

If you aren’t a member of Alpha Phi would would you possibly care what they do? It has absolutely no bearing on your life. It makes you look petty and small. To the women going thru recruitment, go and enjoy yourself. Alpha Phi isn’t the right fit for every PNM, there is not 1 house that is perfect for everyone. Don’t pay attention to some disgruntled girl who has a bad attitude. Every house is a wonderful experience if you want it to be.

I’m in the house currently and I hate it. We are treated with 0 respect. They make bid day a big deal and are so happy for you but then your nothing but a liability it seems. Last year members also couldn’t stop talking about the girls that didn’t go Aphi that they really wanted and it made a few of us feel less special.
