recruitment horror stories

Let’s start a thread of wack/funny stuff that you’ve seen happen during recruitment so we can all have a laugh and also so PNMs can relax a little and see they aren’t THAT weird. Last year during pref I was rushing this girl and while I was talking to her she took off her shoe and SCRATCHED her foot. Sis was going ham but still maintained eye contact w me and talked to me like nothing was going on.

Last year I was talking to a PNM and she noticed my California necklace and asked if I was from Florida.... then I told her it was California and she told me that SHE WAS FROM CALIFORNIA?? LA to be exact. How do you not know what your own state looks like??

This one girl got really mad at another girl during double rush because she said something snarky like “oh you’ve never been to Italy before?”. I swear I thought the other girl was gonna choke her out right then and there
